Hungerford Writers’ Group
The Write Creative Network is the home of the Hungerford Writers’ Group, which meets twice a month.
The group is now in its second year and we are still meeting regularly. We have a great mixture of members with a variety of backgrounds, styles, interests, and levels of experience. We meet on Wednesdays, usually every other week. We alternate between workshop sessions and peer review sessions.
Workshop sessions involve discussions and exercises around a chosen theme. Peer reviews look at one or two pieces of work submitted by members so that we can give open feedback. The sessions are always fun, friendly and we manage to share a lot of information.
My goal in running the group is for each member to find some form of inspiration to go away and write. So far, this seems to be working well.
